We want to invite you to the 4th EUFEPS Talks on May 18, 2021.
Prof. Africa Gonzalez (MD, PhD, Immunologist, CINBIO, University of Vigo, Spain), will give a talk with the title: "Immunity and COVID-19".
Abstract
The coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 arrived and changed our lives, and it is the time for Immunology. The talk will summarize our knowledge regarding how we defend us against this new virus, how an exacerbated immune system can compromise patient´s life, the immunotherapy that can be used to cure patients, the generation of effective vaccines and potential secondary effects, together with the development of new immunological techniques to identify the virus.
